Alnmouth is a picturesque village on the estuary of the river Aln where it flows into the North Sea.  Set in beautiful countryside and with miles of unspoilt sandy beaches it is a perfect location for outdoor activities or simply to enjoy nature.  There are walks for all abilities, cycle trails, watersports and a golf course within the village.  The village has great amenities including shops, pubs, restaurants and cafes: all within easy walking distance.  It is also a great base from which to explore north Northumberland; only 10 minutes from the market town of Alnwick and the world famous Alnwick gardens and a short drive from the Farne Islands, Bamburgh and the Cheviot Hills.
